MuDJoB

features me today ;) a tale inspired by the recent 10th anniversary of the foot and mouth outbreak. It is fitting that it goes up today as I am thinking of pyres, and from there to Pyrrhic victories, and wondering if there is also such a thing as a Pyrrhic defeat...

    I read your poem and looked at the first picture, and had a strong reaction. Then I scrolled down and was incapacitated, this is very powerful.

    thanks Glen.. It was an incomprehensible time.. burning to create gaps so disease could not spread.. I remember driving around the country for work and seeing the smoke rising like this..
